Caygill can't catch Curran

WORLD championship pursuit team member Paul Curran of Stockton Wheelers won the Spartan Wheelers ten-mile time trial on Saturday.

Second, behind his fast time of 21min 44sec, was Arthur Caygill (22-19) who led Richmond & Darlington CC to the team award. His club mate Len Roberts was third in 23-27; tying with Tyne Velo's Paul McGrath.

Dave Burns completed the Richmond team.
