Cleveland Wheelers Open '10'

Course record

Setting a course record, Whitby Wheeler Blenkey Cycles rider Richard Young won the Cleveland Wheeler 10-mile time trial with a fast 21-47 performance.

Paul Curran, who this weekend is one of the favourites far the national junior 25-mile time trial championship, took second place in 22-03 to best third placed Scarborough rider Mick Storey of the Central RC Conrads Club by three seconds.

All three leading riders broke the previous record for the distance on the Crathorne based A19 couse.
