RTTC JUNIOR BEST ALL-ROUNDER

Curran in England's top three juniors

STOCKTON Wheeler Paul Curran has found a place among time trialling's junior elite with a superb 26.52mph average to earn third place in the Road Time Trial Council national junior best all-rounder competition.

1977 has been a real year of achievement for the 16-year-old Stockton rider.

He has already taken national honours in both the hard and grass track championships of the English School Cycling Association, and competed as a member of a Great Britain junior representative track team against Holland.
