Winning week-end for Curran

In Hartlepool C.C.'s Trading Estate Criteriums, Curran continued his previous day's success in the Clifton '10' by winning the senior event from Ian Norris (Barnesbury) and Dave Lund (Middridge) in a sprint finish, with Paulding ninth out of 27.

Local cycle dealer Colin Armstrong punctured after being well in contention in a leading group of riders.
